i wasn't really looking forward to my birthday this year actually - who does anyway, when you're entering into a different age classification, and being constantly reminded that as a woman, you're fast approaching your "sell-by" date.

shelf-life aside, this year's birthday turned out to be pretty darn heartwarming, i must say =) and this is where the thanks (1-month overdue though, sorry!) begins...

to j, for being the ever-so-meticulous planner of a very nice birthday dinner at mezze and the after party at phuture *hugs*
to sooj, for clubbing, even when you don't (and for holding the girls' handbags too) =P
to all my friends who made time to celebrate with me and your very nice presents and angpow *ka-ching!* i'm rich! haha!
to jo, for baking the beautiful and scrumptious passionfruit pavlova (yummmm!)
to my uncles and aunties for celebrating with me at leo's (glad you enjoyed the food =D) - the angpows were very much appreciated! *ka-ching-ching!*
to my dad and mum, for your unconditional love (tough as it may be =P) - the present and angpow was very much appreciated too! *ka-ching-ching-ching!*

as you can tell, my birthday has indeed, been a lucrative one - wouldn't mind celebrating a few times a year then, if i can keep this up!
