a really dear friend of mine became family recently, when she married my cousin. it definitely tugged at my heartstrings, considering that i was the one that introduced them more than four years ago. at the time, i really didn't think much would come of it. in fact, when they did get together, i was apprehensive of the consequences, should the relationship have met a sorry end.

but it's a beautfiful thing indeed, to have been a witness of their relationship thus far. it is great thing when two people who are obviously suited for one another, pair up and move on to populate the earth. but it is a far more inspiring, when two individuals who are almost polar opposites, know what they hate about each other, but use the strength of what they love instead, to strike a compromise, to make it work, and to eventually grow to beautifully compliment one another.

i wish you both the very, very best and i sincerely hope to continue to bear withness as you both begin this new journey together.
