mood: heavy hearted
listening to: all at once - the fray

it's been a good week. managed to have good catch up sessions with nicole and chris on seperate occassions. both of whom i've not seen in a long time.

and it's nice. nice to find that they've not changed. comforting to find consistency.

got to squeeze in some partying as well... =) that's about the only exercise i get nowadays...meh*

but there's always a but.

and this week has also shown that the following couple of lines, which were written back in 2003, have been applicable through and through each year since...

mellow tones, the breezes that blow,
weary is your heart, in coldness lay.
sunny it is, the sky that shows,
tragic is the story, as it plays.

what season is this, that carries this shadow?
why did this happen, i cannot say?
when did sunshine turn to snow?
how did forever, end today?

But seriously, that lil piece you write back in 2003 is a work of art. I am impressed.
