mood: er...just hungry
listening to: the space between - dave matthews band

things happening when you least expect it.
being lied to by the person you trust the most.
being given a cat for your birthday, when the world knows you are "allergic to" (read: hate) them.
being served salad with loads of thousand island, when you're on a diet.
being asked out on a date by a guy you fancy, on the same day your granddad died.
having absolutely no cash at a cash only shop, just when you've found THE perfect pair of shoes (!)

ah yes. irony. if there's one lesson to be learnt in life it is this. irony rules. so much so there's even a song about it... bleh*
