mood: kinda tired, excited and restless at the same time (?)

hi! *waves frantically*
me in singapore... woohoo! so that makes this my first post from abroad! =)
came down for an interview. did i ace it? hrrm... we'll see ;) rushing back at 7am tomorrow morning to make it in time for another interview in k.l. the opportunity to work in singapore is definitely enticing. ze moolah's one thing. well, there'll also be opportunity to travel, the glamour of working with an established enterprise...yada-yada-yada...
i won't get into that right now.
had lunch with chris, after he dragged me across town (in actual fact it was probably less than 1.5km) on foot (4 inch heels more like it) for sushi. good lunch tho. even better because he paid for it, that sweetipie! *hugs*
caught up with julian for dinner, but only after i fed myself some
"veronese chocolate" gelato from
gelatissimo at the foot of shaw plaza while waiting for the bloke. think
ferrero roche in a cone. *YUM* it was great catching up with jules too... hey dude, ever thought of becoming a career counsellor? :P
anyway, did you know, that in singapore...
only singaporean citizens can drive cabs?
taxi drivers can never own their own cabs?
the government has so much foreign reserves, that it's afraid to declare it? (apparently in the region of 1 trillion (?))
taxi drivers are really well informed on cross border politics, economics and social policies?
=)
but i must say, hats-off to the singaporean cabbies! they really are some of the most courteous people around.
