i can't wait to eat the b.k.t. that my mom is planning to cook for tomorrow night's dinner! w00t!

even more so than that, i can't wait to tapau it to work the next morning with RICE! ooOOooo.....yumyum....

to put my love for good food in perspective, a friend said this to me last night, after witnessing yours truly relish a bowl of curry laksa from the old town kopitiam in taipan (must be the one in taipan k, cos everywhere else, to put it mildly, sucks!):

"i've never seen anyone love their curry laksa so much before. really. i've never seen anyone love their curry laksa so much before"

yes, i had a glazed look of curry-laksa-heaven happiness on my face when i was done.

sooj suggested that i try asking for more soup too, but no laaahh, me not that thick skinned... although i really wouldn't have minded having one more bowl =D

anyway, back to the curry laksa.

i had my first taste of it a couple of months ago, from sooj's portion, and i was hooked every since. BUT, yesterday was the only time i've ordered it since the first taste, thanks to the "no-carbs-for-dinner diet" i've been on these past couple of months (sigh.)

so yes - this dieting crime was perpetrated in a moment of weakness.

why do all the wrong things feel. so. right.(!)

but hey, i wouldn't have traded my curry-laksa-heaven yesterday for anything else =)
