mood: contemplative
listening to: buttons - p.c.d.

in the absence of something long forgotten, one is led astray. we, as individuals, and as a society, have a need for certain moral standards to be constantly prevalent around us, to serve as a reminder of what we need, not what we want, and what is absent and therefore what needs to be done. woe is the day when these standards have been so long absent, that we forget what is, and was defined, as good in the first place.

i speak as an ignorant fool, who was and still is, blissfully ignorant to a certain extent. i rely on other individuals to enlighten me of the wrongs that are being done in this world. i have no open desire to seek the truth, lest the rose tinted glasses be lifted. but let me qualify this by saying that i have no regrets in learning the truth, for there is liberation in it. it just saddens me that i have no drive to live a larger life.

this space here does not allow me to explain the vagaries i've plotted above. a lot of the words are used in a specific context, so if you've got a bone to pick with me, let me know.

-"the human body and soul is destined for decay"-
