righty-ho...

me will be back in KL for approximately 26 hours. will be heading down to good 'ol singapore by 8pm tomorrow (whoopee...!) =)

so lemme see... what did i do in hk?

yes, there was shopping, and walking, and eating, and shopping... and oh yeah, did i mention walking??? i'm beat. my mom's comprehension of a holiday stands in stark contrast to mine (and my sister's for that matter). as b put it, i usually woke up at 8.30 AM (!!) to the sound of "what's the point of going on a holiday if you're gonna sleep in all the time!?" so yup, a minimum of 12 hours was spent walking around town on a daily basis.

i had a good time none-the-less, what with free board and travel plus (!) a tidy sum for a shopping allowance too =) ah me dad, the walking ATM... he's a nice fellow indeed =)

so i hopped off the plane, and was out of the house in the space of less than two hours. had coffee with the guys and some badly needed nicotine. pat and b were pretty happy with their prezzies (sigh....i'm good...what can i say?) although i must say that it would've been great if pat had chosen the stainless steel hipflask and settled for engraving his initials - i.e. "p.p.", on it.

it's a bit of a pity that i'm gonna be out of town so soon, given that my parents and sister are still in hk and won't be back till saturday. it's kinda nice to have the whole house to myself once in a while...

oh well.
