listening to: killing me softly - the fugees (the irony...)it's becoming more apparent of late, that people tend to surprise on the downside, more often than on the upside.it is a sad, sad, day indeed, when you're told that you should be less trusting and more conniving in order to get what you want.but i take comfort in this - that in having to be told such a thing and at the same time, being aware that such advice is a serious cause for concern - that i am still able to choose, and that i am not as cynical as i once thought i was.there is hope yet. if not for all mankind, then for me at least? haha!hooray(?).
