the way the human mind selectively manoeuvres itself through the details (however minute or obvious) in our daily lives is fascinating indeed.

instances where we ignore the obvious and pounce on the minute, whereas in other instances, we fail to see all the shades of grey between the black and white, are precisely why i say it's selective.

but why so choosey? why the inconsistency?

because only the answers that we want to hear, make the best sense.
