last year, at the stroke of midnight on new year's eve, this is the wish i made as i watched the fireworks light up the night sky - that 2008 would zip by and erase the drag that was 2007.

and you know what the elusive "they" always say... becareful what you wish for. hrm.

anyway, i'm gonna leave my recap till later. but even before the chapter officially closes in on 2008, some goodbyes have already begun. =(

come thursday, a & s will be taking leave to kuching for what is meant to be on a permanent basis. we have a feeling that we'll still be seeing lots of them though...heheheh. but still, it's not that same as having them in the same town.

even then, who amongst us do not often take those closest to us (both in intimacy and proximity) for granted?

and it is somewhat ironic, that one of my fondest memories of some of our time shared together was also a time i had to say goodbye to some other friends.

but this is my wish for you, a & s... not just for 2009, but always - that by God's grace, you will continue to flourish in your love for one another, wherever you may be. and also, that you'll both be abundantly blessed by many, many mini yous in the time to come...hehehe...

the both of you, together and as individuals, truly are an inspiration to me.

will miss you both dearly....
