i just got back from watching hannah tan perform, live on piano, at somo. to be honest, i was not a fan, and am still not a fan. i went only because i was indulging my "aunty" self and being "pat" to see what the fuss is all about.
in summary - she plays the piano well. she's a pretty good singer too. and did i mention she's hot? (d-uh!) =) but she really does come across as sweet. plus she reminds me of kristin kreuk from smallville.
anyway, back to more important stuff - yup, she's hot!

also managed to catch passion at the klpac last night with ean. now THAT was really good!
the choreography was excellent! well in my opinion anyway. it was artistic, yet still managed to stay relevant - thereby conveying the message (although still subject to each individual's interpretation) and emotions quite clearly - basically, you don't have to be particularly artsy-fartsy to get it lah.
you could see the underlying spanish/tango theme whilst hints of more traditional influences were incorporated. the minimalist set and costumes combined with simple yet highly effective lighting effects completed the production.
it ends on 6th April! go catch it! =)
