there are times when you want to cut all ties and just simply remove every single trace of a person or an event from your life. because to forget is not enough, and nothing short of denying its very existence will suffice. but you want this, all at once, knowing very well that there will come a day, when you will search and cling on to any scrap of that memory, be it physical or mental, that you can find. now that is the human condition, isn't it? or perhaps it is only mine.

happy valentine's day, whatever that means.

I think some painful events, particularly when it is self-inflicted, is best dealt with, at least for now, by eviscerating every memory of it. Realization of one's own stupidity is not an easy thing to face, and accept ;)

And I suppose the day will come when one will eventually get over it, and be able to look back and revisit the memory without cringing with embarrassment or reeling with pain.

Heh!
