just got back from watching stranger than fiction. all i have to say is, watch the movie. to say anymore would be to give it away, and to give it away... well... where's the fun in that, right? =)

in all likelihood, to say that it was good would only raise your expectations, which more often than not, only leads to bigger disappointments. but then again, to say that it was lousy... now, everything deserves a fair chance, no?

there is a certain balance to be struck at all times. the ability to see and rationalise things clearly sometimes becomes its own undoing.

oftentimes, you realise a little too late, that you were deceived into believing that your clarity of mind was a pre-emptive "you-already-know-better" tool - only to find that all the talking and explaining and disclaiming has led you no where. that "you-don't-know-any-better". all because logic and reason was the lie you fed yourself in order to avoid disappointment and heartache.

there is no joy in saying "i told you so". none at all.
