that a good bad person is more deserving of respect, than a bad good person.

or perhaps the question is this...

does honesty about one's own duplicitous nature, offer some measure of recompense for the duplicitous nature itself?

as for the bad good person, well, i think we're all bad good people. some, worse than others.

but even in this circle, there is a definitive line - between those who try to be good, and those who think they are.
