oh sweet sweet bed of mine,
how do i love thee?
let me count the ways!
2 weeks - t'is been too long a time,
sadly divided, separated were we.
oh, how i have counted the days!
recounting my duvet ever so fine,
every minute, wherever i be,
how i've longed for your sweet embrace!
suffered have i, my poor behind,
on the subpar, ever so miserably,
my sleep, my slumber, all of it, a waste!
before this, i was blind,
how very good, you've been to me
retribution you call this? how bitter it's taste!
but tonight, once again you're mine,
reunited - gladly, joyfully, finally!
every minute, will be savoured with my pillow case!
between your soft sheets, there i'll be entwined,
chasing my dreams, ever so blissfully,
come rain, thunder or fire, i will be unfazed!
